Performance reporting is a pretty standard business practice in any government department. However, working with our client we were able to help them take it to the next level by making it more than just measuring what they do.
Firstly we mapped and defined the value-add (benefits) in all core business activities and identified how it would be measured. Our innovative approach commenced a cultural shift from only measuring outputs to a focus on demonstrating the value their services deliver.
The data was brought together in a framework that empowered them with knowledge that could be viewed through different “lenses” such as customer, partner, stakeholder or activity.
Using this new knowledge our client can demonstrate the benefits they deliver back to the organisation and their customers. They are armed with evidence to confidently communicate the stories of impact they are having and proactively drive improvements in the future.
